Novotel Birmingham Centre

The breakfast was pricey at £18 each however if you booked the day before it would be discounted to £13.50. Again that's expensive for sausage and bacon. The hotel is pretty central to everything so it has a great location with a weatberspoons over the road with a cheaper breakfast. Th hotel is very good and only reason I gave 3 stars on cleanliness was due to the carpet stains in the room. It looked like someone had vomitted and it had stained around the bed. It's not the hotel's fault the cleaners had done their best to clean. Everything else was spotless though. The bed was very comfy and with the black out curtain I slept sound.

I can't fault anything about the hotel, Me and my family really enjoyed our stay, including our 1 year old, it was her first time in a hotel, she was so excited. We even extended for another night. There was a nice size cot for her to sleep and our double bed was very comfortable, good night sleep. There was a gym and sauna, we didn't have chance to use unfortunately. The breakfast is worth it. There was hot buffet breakfast, along with cold buffet breakfast. Options for gluten free, and dairy free. Loads of options for hot drinks and cold. Pastries, cereals, toast,fruit etc. The hot buffet breakfast was very good, just the classic english breakfast. There was even a small play area for kids to play at the reception. Staff was fantastic, so polite, very helpful. I would gladly come back to this hotel again

The location is great as it's a 10 minute walk to the city centre. The room was clean, decent size, good price! We also got upgraded to an executive room for free, which was really nice of the staff! The hotel was secure as you needed to use your room card to activate the stairs and lifts.

Changed our original hotel to this one as it has secure underground parking which the previous hotel didn't and the public car parks near by have had repeated issues with cars being broken into and stripped for parts. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and clean. The bed was really comfortable.

The staff at Novotel were amazing. When we arrived the people at reception were friendly, interacted with our children and gave them activity packs. During breakfast our 1 year old was unwell and the staff went above and beyond. They made sure we were looked after and the lovely lady at breakfast ( I think her name was Juliet?) arranged for us to have a later check out so he could have a well needed sleep and rest before we had to leave which was really appreciated. It has to be the best customer care we have ever received at a hotel. Thank you so much for our stay.
